Working Principle

The working principle of diesel generators is based on the combustion process of diesel engines and the electromagnetic induction principle of generators. Specifically, when the diesel engine starts, it draws in air and mixes it with injected diesel fuel. This mixture is compressed and ignited within the cylinder, generating high-temperature and high-pressure gases that push the piston and rotate the crankshaft. The crankshaft is connected to the generator's rotor through a transmission device. As the crankshaft rotates, it drives the generator's rotor to rotate within the stator. Since the stator is equipped with magnetic field coils, when the rotor rotates, it induces an electromotive force in the stator coils, generating electric current. This current, after regulation and stabilization, can be supplied to external loads through output lines.
